Our students began their studies at Ryashev University

February is a busy month for the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the PNU. Last week, a group of third-year students (10 people) went to study in Rzeszów as part of a double degree program implemented jointly with the University of Rzeszów (Uniwersytet Rzeszowski).

According to the concluded agreement, students of the bachelor’s programs “Mathematics of Computer Technologies” and “Mathematics” of the Precarpathian National University have the opportunity to participate in this international educational initiative.

During the sixth and seventh semesters (according to the Polish system – the fourth and fifth), our students will study at the University of Rzeszów, and for the spring semester of the fourth year they will return to PNU. They will spend the eighth semester within the walls of the Precarpathian University, gaining knowledge and working on qualification works.

In June, after successful defense, graduates will receive free European-style diplomas in the popular specialty “Data Analysis and Security” – both Ukrainian and Polish.

To become a participant in this educational program, you must:

Successfully pass the NMT-2025 (at least 160 points) and enroll in the educational program “Mathematics of Computer Technologies” or “Mathematics” of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the PNU. After successfully completing the first year, including the winter and summer sessions, the student must apply for participation in the program. After that, he will be enrolled in the first year of the Institute of Mathematics of the Collegium of Natural Sciences of the University of Rzeszów.

Program participants are exempt from tuition fees, which are usually paid by foreign students, as well as from the application fee, which is mandatory even for Polish applicants.

Further studies involve studying the Polish language, continuing studies at the PNU for three semesters, followed by summer (fourth semester) and winter (fifth semester) sessions.

Grades earned at the PNU are transferred to Poland, and vice versa. After that, students continue their studies at the University of Rzeszów for two semesters.
