On June 19-20, 2025, Acting Rector of the Carpathian National University Ihor Tsependa, First Vice-Rector Valentyna Yakubiv, and EDUC-WIDE Project Manager Iryna Hryhoruk will participate in the meetings of the Council of Rectors and the Steering Committee of the EDUC Alliance of European Universities in Rennes (France).
The meeting agenda includes strategic discussions on the future development of the alliance, strengthening international cooperation, supporting research, digitalization, and participating in shaping EU policies in the field of higher education.
Special attention is paid to the vision of EDUC development after 2025.
As part of the visit, an official meeting with representatives of the Rennes City Hall also took place – as a sign of support for European educational integration and the city’s openness to scientific and academic partnership.
In addition, a number of bilateral meetings were held with representatives of partner universities to agree on future joint student and faculty exchange programs, as well as expand academic mobility.
