The series of trainings “University of the Future: Secrets of Successful Management in Education” has been completed

The series of trainings “University of the Future: Secrets of Successful Management in Education” has been completed, which lasted from October to November and brought together 90 participants in 15 teams from faculties and structural divisions of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

The training consisted of four training sessions that covered key aspects of modern academic management: the role of the university in the context of social transformations, strategizing in uncertainty, personnel management and team development, as well as internal and external communication.

The final stage of the program was the final presentation of team projects, during which the participants presented their developed management ideas and proposals for the development of their units.

The practical result of the training was the launch of internal grant support.

Based on the results of the final presentations, the winning team was selected and the first internal grant of UAH 10,000 was issued for the implementation of the project of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute.

The implementation of the project is aimed at improving educational, scientific and innovative activities, developing the academic community, improving the quality of teaching and attracting new ideas.

The following people were involved in conducting the trainings: Valentyna Yakubiv, Iryna Pyatnychuk, Vitaliy Shkromyda, Eduard Lapkovsky, Natalia Belova, Igor Hurak, Tetyana Kornienko, Nelya Dolynko, Tetyana Hulyak, Iryna Solonets and Tetyana Hrynyshak.

The series of trainings was implemented based on the experience of Carpathian University teams participating in the Academic Managers Professional Development Program – a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which is implemented by the British Council within the framework of a joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the World Bank “Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results.”

The training program became an important step in developing the university’s management potential, creating a common space for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and the formation of practical solutions aimed at the strategic development of the institution.
